Thiago’s top scorer + 7-match unbeaten streak

Daejeon Hana Citizens, who clinched their K League 1 stay early, will look to build on their momentum and extend their unbeaten streak to seven games. In the remaining games, it will be interesting to see if Thiago, who narrowly missed out on the top scorer’s title last season, can claim the title of K League 1 top scorer.

Daejeon played to a 2-2 draw against the Suwon Samsung Bluewings on March 29.

Daejeon earned a point with a theater goal from Masa three minutes before the end of the match, giving the team a narrow win at the end of the season.

With the win, Daejeon remains unbeaten in six matches since a 1-1 draw against Ulsan Hyundai on September 16.

October 29 is also a special day for Daejeon.

A year ago, Daejeon, then in the second division, clinched promotion to the K League 1 on Oct. 29 last year with a win over Gimcheon Sangmu.

Daejeon currently sits in eighth place in the league with 47 points after 35 games with 11 wins, 14 draws, and 10 losses.토토사이트

Only three matches remain. Daejeon has a home game against Gangwon FC on Nov. 11, an away game against Jeju United on Nov. 25, and finally a home game against FC Seoul on Nov. 2.

Having already achieved their initial goal of staying in the top flight, Daejeon will now focus on making Thiago a top scorer.

Thiago scored Daejeon’s first goal against Suwon and is currently the top scorer in the K League 1 with 16 goals as of July 7.

He is followed by Ulsan’s Lee Min-kyu, who has 15 goals, Pohang’s Zeca (12), Seoul’s Na Sang-ho (12), and Ulsan Bacco (11).

Thiago narrowly missed out on being the top scorer in the K League 2 last season. Playing for Gyeongnam FC last season, Thiago tied his current Daejeon teammate Yoo Kang-hyun (then of Chungnam Asan) with 19 goals, but lost out on the top scorer honor due to a lack of game time.

Leandro has a chance to win the assist title. Currently, Pohang’s Baekyung-dong has the most assists in the K League 1 with eight, and Leandro is close behind with seven.

“We’re not going to leave the Asian Champions League for seventh place, and we’re not going to draw attention to ourselves,” Lee Min-sung said at the pre-match press conference on March 29, but added, “I’d like to make (Thiago) the top scorer, but if I focus on that, I might get things wrong, so I have to go with the flow. If the team wins, Thiago will get a lot of chances.”
